Hass Avocado

The avocado is an evergreen plant native to Central America that can reach 20 m in height. Depending on the geographical areas, they are divided into three types: Mexican, Antillean and Guatemalan and differ in shape, color, size and even flavor.

The Hass variety belongs to the Guatemalan avocado species. Its green color is darker than other avocados and has wrinkled skin; once the fruit is harvested, it continues to ripen until it acquires a dark brown or purplish color.

This color indicates that it is the ideal moment to enjoy the avocado flavor to the fullest, with its creamy flesh, rich in "good fats" such as Omega 3 and vitamins and proteins. The Hass avocado variety is considered the best compared to the other avocado varieties, both for its fragrance and its more intense flavor, with a nutty aftertaste.
