The Climate

There is a real mix of climates and microclimates in Colombia, mainly due to its geographical position, altitude, distribution, and amount of rainfall. The temperature in the region is temperate, between 15 °C and 25 °C, and is directly conditioned by constant and moderate rain during ten months of the year and two periods of drought in February and August, respectively, with permanent luminosity.

Throughout the year, avocado plants are exposed to the sun for more than 8 hours a day and can grow in an environmentally sustainable way, thanks to an annual rainfall of around 1500-2000 mm of water.  Therefore, we don't need to source water from running water sources.
